The Istanbul Galata University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (GalaTAM) was established on October 19, 2020, with the aim of teaching Turkish to foreign students who will come from abroad to study at higher education institutions and to individuals who are not students at any educational institution but apply with the desire to learn Turkish. Additionally, GalaTAM aims to train teaching staff who will go abroad from Turkey, to conduct necessary documentation and material studies, and to carry out joint project activities in collaboration with relevant national and international institutions and organizations.
